MH(Metal Halide)

Metal Halide grow lights are a popular choice among indoor gardeners, producing high light output per watt, making it a powerful and efficient light source. MH bulbs are also members of HID (high intensity discharge) systems and operate under high pressure and temperature, so make sure that they are least 12 to 16 inches away from the plant leaves to prevent heat stress. Metal Halide bulbs cover a wide color spectrum of light, but they are mostly used by growers for the vegetative stage of plant growth. They emit a high intensity of blue frequency light (5500K) which plants love in the vegetative stage. A lot of professional growers use a combination of MH (blue) and HPS (red) grow lights to create the perfect light spectrum blend and intensity for the vegetative and flowering stages of plants.
